TIBS News is an exciting sports-reporting organisation. We aim to bring you up to date with what’s happening in the sporting world.
Originally launched in October 2012 the website had an overhaul in June 2020. We strive to provide the content that matters to you, the viewers.
The Name
TIBS‘ stems from the close nature of the website’s original founders. We were a tightly-knit group of sport journalists who studied at Southampton Solent University. They were known as TIBS and from there the name stuck.
As an acronym for the website, TIBS stands for TALKING, INNOVATING and BROADCASTING SPORT. Our aim to do just that, in multiple ways.
What We Do
TIBS News is a multi-media website which features articles, blogs and reports on different sports. We also produce podcasts and videos on certain issues or topics within those too.
We hope to take TIBS News as far as possible and look forward to you being part of our journey.
