Gareth Bale and Dan Biggar prove that Wales are better than England at Football and Rugby

Dan Biggar starred for Wales during their 28-25 victory over rivals England in the Rugby World Cup group stage.

The Ospreys outside-half put in a very solid performance scoring seven penalties and converted after Gareth Davies’ try.

The key talking point was that England threw away a TEN POINT lead to lost the match.

The win means that there is a huge amount of pressure on Stuart Lancaster’s team now that they realistically have to beat Australia to progress into the second round.

With only two teams progressing from the group it is going to be a very interesting match on the 3rd October.

As for football in September Wales went above England in FIFA’s rankings when they held on to ninth whilst the ailing Three Lions dropped two places to tenth.

The Dragons are led by skipper Ashley Williams – who currently plays for Swansea but after impressive displays has attracted the attention from top sides in the Premier League.

Whilst it was always disappointing that Ryan Giggs never had the chance play in a major international football championship their current star man is Gareth Bale and looks set to lead his nation to Euro 2016.

At 26 years-old the Real Madrid player has scored 18 times in his 52 caps for his country and is chasing Ian Rush’s record of 28 goals.

As it stands Chris Coleman is not saying too much about the rankings only that it was a ‘confidence boost’ to move above England and that all they are focusing on is qualifying for the Championships in France.

Whilst England have not lost to Wales since May 1984, when a young Mark Hughes scored on his debut, Roy Hodgson will want to avoid their British rivals.

The other sides in the top team include Argentina first, 2014 World Cup winners Germany in third and Bale’s team-mate Ronaldo’s Portugal in eighth.
