Perennial kings of France, Paris Saint-Germain are now finally the kings of Europe after a Champions League final demolition job of Inter Milan.

In what was billed as a showpiece that was too close to call, the French giants emphatically dismissed that notion with a 5-0 triumph at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Teenage sensation Desire Doue scored twice for Luis Enrique’s side as they clinched their first-ever Champions League title.

Former Inter Milan right back Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring against his old club with a tap-in on 12 minutes.

Doue then grabbed his first of the night eight minutes later. In a stunning counter-attack, the ball found the winger just inside the right-hand side of the penalty area to which his deflected effort found the back of the net.

Trailing two-nil at the break, things got worse for Inter as Doue extended their lead just after the hour mark with a sublime team goal. Ousmane Dembele’s wonderful flick released Vitinha, who played in Doue for a beautifully composed finish.

Dembele was the architect for the Ligue 1 champions fourth goal as his through-ball released Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who finished with aplomb past Yann Sommer.

PSG substitute Senny Mayulu added a fifth goal four minutes from time to complete the drubbing.

Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs blew the whistle without any stoppage time to spare any further Inter Milan humiliation and let the soiree commence for PSG.
