The Serie A has been one of the most closely contested leagues this season with just one-point separating the top three as TIBS News previews it all. This gap could be turned on its head as table-toppers Napoli host Inter Milan on Saturday evening.

Napoli vs Inter Milan

Following Inter Milan’s 2-1 loss in the Derby della Madonnina, Napoli have been given a golden chance to top the Serie A standings with 13 games left to play.

Napoli come into Saturday’s fixture in good form after three wins on the bounce.

Luciano Spalletti’s side has also been boosted by the return of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen, who scored in his side’s 2-0 win over Venezia in midweek, after a short stint out with Covid-19.

One man looking to nullify the impact of Napoli’s No 9 is Simone Inzaghi.

The Inter Milan manager is currently on course to lead them to a second-straight Scudetto, following predeccor Antonio Conte’s success last season, and a win this weekend could see them go four points clear.

Inzaghi’s side have won three of their last four against Napoli including a 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture in November.

Atalanta vs Juventus

From one massive tie in Italy to another as the race for Champions League qualification heats up with fourth-placed Juventus heading to fifth-placed Atalanta.

After a sticky start to the season, Juventus have found their stride – losing just once in their last 11 games. That one defeat being inflicted by Sunday`s opponent Atalanta back in November.

Massimiliano Allegri will also have January signings Dennis Zakaria and £63million man Dusan Vlahovic available after the Juventus manager was backed during the winter window.

Atalanta new boy Jeremie Boga is also set to start after opening his account midweek in a 3-2 defeat by Fiorentina as La Dea look to get back into the top four.

The reverse fixture was a cagey affair which saw Atalanta come out 1-0 winners. And with a lot on the line we can expect this weekend’s game to play out in a similar way.
