This week most Serie A teams have started their pre-season training where the players undertake their medical and fitness tests to see if they have return from the summer in good shape.
Inter Milan are set to start their training on July 23, while Juventus begin theirs a day later with both teams having participated in the Club World Cup – which Chelsea won on Sunday.
At the end of July and early August the teams start their pre-season friendlies.
Milan’s games start with their Asia-Pacific tour before heading to Ireland and the UK. Roma are making the most of their summer in England – they will be based at St George’s Park (England’s national hub) before facing Aston Villa and Everton.
Roma’s city rivals Lazio face newly-promoted Burnley – who have recently signed young French winger Loum Tchaouna from the Italian team.
UK based Fiorentina fans have the opportunity to watch their team three times as they will be in the Midlands to play Leicester City and Nottingham Forest before heading to Manchester for a tasty clash with Man Utd.
